Before work on Wednesday I wanna swing by and pick up a 32GB Verizon 4G at the Apple store. How are they doing with inventory? You think they will have them? I know Best Buy has them but I just feel better buying directly from Apple. Any thoughts?

Rumors are that Apple made more this time around to prepare for the launch. Which means nothing because they're having record sales numbers. I would get in there before Wednesday. I waited like this with the iPad 2 and ended up waiting a month for mine.

If I'm not mistaken, everyone is sold out, or is about to be. You can probably still get one at list price if you hunt around.

Check your store's stock at 10pm tonight... Perhaps you can reserve one tomorrow night for Wednesday pick up?

Honestly, I'd say it depends on where you are.
I've heard that they're out of stock here in NYC for at least a week.
I decided to exchange my Wifi-only for a 4G version this morning and my store (Chicago - Michigan Ave. had TONS in stock)
The instructions kind of suggest it won't be clickable until 10pm local time...
Just sayin, I wouldn't fret too much until it's after 10pm...
