Avoid the 7, 7 Plus, and 8 for high SAR levels. X marks the spot.

I had to make this same decision a couple of weeks ago.

If you can afford the X get it. If not get the 8. Personally I wouldn’t get a 7.

Hi guys,

I've an iPhone 6 with 64GB. The battery sucks (now more than ever) and I can basically drain the all battery in less than an hour.

I've three choices:
  1. Change the battery
  2. Buy the smart case from Apple (which is hideous, but at least I don't have to keep with me the travel charger that needs the USB cable and all of that)
  3. Buy a new iPhone
I'm undecided between iPhone 7, 8 and X. The photos on my iPhone are occupying so much space and even though I've the iCloud optimisation on, I still have few space left, so I need at least 128GB (I've something like 81k photos and over 5k videos).

What do you guys think is the best choice? The iPhone 7 looks nice and has a really good price, but maybe it's not a real improvement over my iPhone 6. The iPhone 8 looks amazing and the price is not that bad. The iPhone X costs lots of money, has a full-screen and everything, but the price is making me undecided.

What do you guys suggests?

Thank you!

If you watch a lot of full-screen video and want the video to appear like how it does on your tv and or computer monitor go with a plus phone unless you're ok with the video being essentially the same size as your 6 or don't mind the corners of your video and a notch cut out on one side.

I haven’t used the X so I can’t comment on the battery life. The 8 is a beast when it comes into battery life. Don’t be surprised just because if it’s reduced battery capacity. I believe Apple has mastered the art of efficiency in the A11 chip.

The 8 has lasted longer than my 7 even when comparing it to the 7 launch day a year ago.
