iBook Error...Disc Burner in use somewhere else

I am trying to burn a CD through ITunes, which I have done multiple times in the past without a problem. Now, after I select the songs to burn and have the CDR in the drive, I get an error message that says: The burner is in use by another application. Please help......

And of course you've restarted your computer and tried again?

Try logging in as another user and verify that the disc drive is in use there as well. IF it isn't then it's just a problem with your account which should be (more or less) easily remidied. Not so if it's a problem with another user as well.
