is it possible to connect an ibook to an external monitor? and i don't mean one of the new expensive flat screens...just my old 21" monitor...

also...since i don't have OS X yet, i don't know about this...is it really possible to install Windows XP on the hard drive and boot to that as needed? can this be done with OS 9 too? i know, i know...why would i do that?! i am searching the possibility of splitting my time between europe and the states and i NEED to take everything with me on a laptop...and i need a pc from time to time...

thanks for any help...jv

?

did i put this in the wrong place? i'm sure somebody knows of these things...maybe we could move this to the help forum?

sorry...jv

well you could run virtual PC (which runs on both 9 and X) but you can't just boot up in XP on your laptop. also, another thing to keep in mind is that virtual pc would be a lot slower than having an actual pc

on you ibook XP will be really slow
and I suggest bying a cheaper PC or keeping the old one
