iBook G4 1.33 GHz Mobo in 1.064 GHz Model

I have an iBook G4 with a dead 1.064 logic board. I need to order a new one because reflowing the solder won't work anymore.

I was wondering if I upgraded to a 1.33 GHz board, if it would work with all my existing hardware.

I applaud you for what you're doing but have you considered to upgrading to a more modern machine?

I have more modern machines. I have a MacBook Pro as well as a brand new windows laptop.

I loved the iBook G4 though. It may have been my favorite Mac of all time (I'm still not too sure why yet 😛)

I'd hate to see such a Mac with much life left in it go to waste.
