Hi,

My fiancee recently got a new MacBook and is setting up her computer with her old stuff.

She added her iCloud account, and iCloud Drive is checked in what it is syncing, as well as Documents and Desktop within the options associated with it.

The iCloud Drive app/"folder" aren't showing any files on her Macbook. The files are there if you login at icloud.com and check. They aren't syncing to the computer. The files are also ok, as I manually downloaded one of them and opened it, and it was fine.

It also only appears to be affecting the iCloud Drive part of the iCloud account, as her Photos have synced, as well as her Safari Bookmarks.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

iCloud Drive can be very finicky at times. It might help to disable iCloud Drive in your iCloud settings, reboot, then reenable it again. Or just leave the Mac running over night and make sure it doesn't go to sleep after a few minutes. Sometimes it can take a looooooooong time for iCloud Drive to start downloading and synchronizing.
