I just bought a 4 bay Drobo to be used for Time Machine and "shared" movies server. I plan to attach the Drobo to Airport Extreme via USB so I can run TM & movies for all 4 Macs on the Network.
Setup:
- (1) 2TB HD, (2) 1TB HD, one free bay connected to Airport Extreme via USB.
Questions:
- Should I set up Drobo as ONE drive or should I have 2 partitions, one for TM and one for movies?
- Can I REALLY trust all my data to the Drobo?
