I'm thinking 5am? anyone agree?
I would leave now...
5am? That would be a crappy spot. If you want a decent spot, be there at midnight. If you want a GOOD spot, 7pm the night before.
should have been in line yesterday there's already a line forming
TOTALLY depends on what Apple store you are talking about. Every mall has different rules regarding camping out. Some allow it, some do not. Find that and and then you and figure out what time to get in line.
Well, I guess where you are picking up and if you have a reservation.
The management company that runs the plaza of my Apple Store won't allow people gathering before 6am or so.
What city? I think that's the most important question because it all depends on this.
Sucks for people that live in cities with Apple-in-malls.
The next person who makes a thread like this needs to be shot. Anyone with me?
I told you that other thread was getting too long!
Violence is never the answer to anything!
But in this case. . . .
Dammit, i thought i could post it before someone else did!
But yeah, what Master said.
or maybe 2am the night before. You can be tired and sit in line all night at the same time
it's getting to the point where there's no point in visiting the forum for the next few weeks. first it was a million posts about when pre-ordering will start, then a million posts about not being able to place a pre-order, now a million posts about if i go to the store, can i pick one up.
and just think, if 600,000 people purchased phones and 13M tried to submit for phones, do you think iphone 4 is going to be a popular product? given that in the past there are lines that form days beforehand and the phone's never been as popular as this version appears to be, what do you think?
seriously people. enough already.
I am with this guy.
this forum needs a ranking system so we can give negative rep to those that don't bother searching and start a new thread on a subject that already has 2 existing threads on the front page.
the answer to these types of threads is just to give BS answers.
Apparently for you it is. I'm giving real life experience in a top 10 city.
Depends where you live. If it were NYC, well, you could be there days before. In Albuquerque, probably an hour would suffice.
I am with you!!
2am the night before
72 hours before and I'm not joking.
The iPhone 4 launch is like the PS3 launch on steroids. You need to get there days in advance to be first.
I see what has been done
