If I were to use my macbook with a 23" ACD what mini dvi adapter do I need?

Apple Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter.. will this adapter enable me to connect the macbook to the 23" ACD? The cinema display's dvi is a male so the Apple Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter have a female end after connecting it to the macbook?

Do you need a Apple DVI to ADC Adapter to use with the Mini-DVI to DVI adapter or can you just use the 23" ACD's DVI to connect straight to the Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter?

The mini-DV to DVI will connect to any DVI monitor, as the mini-DV to VGA will connect to any VGA monitor. It's all industry-standard. No other dongles or gender-benders needed. You're golden.
