if you ask Siri what the time is, she makes a joke but doesnt actually tell you the time?

I know you could just look at the watch, but surely if you have bothered to ask siri the time it means you aren't looking at your watch....

tried it twice....the first time she said 'the time is a changing....but its now...' and then doesn't tell me. I have to look. the second time she made a less memorable joke but still tailed off without telling me the time.

Works fine for me. She said "it's a freckle past a hair, Eastern Elbow Time." and then below that was the current time.

I just asked Siri for the time and she verbally gave me the time all three times.

Ah, your reply sounded like Siri was coming out with another joke and then just displayed the time underneath lol

but that's exactly the problem, why does she find herself capable of telling you a joke about telling the time, and not just finish it off with ' which is 3.34pm'
    --- Post Merged, Sep 28, 2017 ---
I have just asked her for the third time what the time is, and she has a decent repertoire of sarky comments 'its the same time it was yesterday at around this time.' and then clamps up. I mean I can see the time on the screen but I asked her because I wanted her to tell me.

You seem to have p|ssed off Siri and she is just messing with you. I happen to like her humor and I use Siri many times a day. I ask her to set a timer and she says the suspense is killing her.

The world could use some humor!

A lot of times i just say the key word. For example, Time. Or weather. My siri never flirts with me

I want to ask "Whats the weather today" and have it spoken to me. Not just displayed. Or to be able to use a phrase like: "Tell me the weather today".

Maybe if you "warmed her up" a little, she has feelings, too!

She said, " time to do the time warp again" then spoke the time.

It would be annoying if my siri was goofy like that. I want a feminine Siri that flirts with me. Its the least AI can do for a married man.

It would annoy me to no end as well if I could not get just a direct and simple answer. I rarely used siri until the watch 3 just because of how annoyed I got when it gave me the usual sort of I can't find it/don't know/wrong thing altogether.
