I woke up to having two voice mails two min apart. No missed called so obviously phone didn't ring. Anyway i had two vm messages. That would happen either way right? I guess for two min my signal was crappy. Probably fixing towers cause I always have signal in basement room

VMs will come in, but only after you've got signal again. For the time you have no signla, you won't be receiving voicemail; they'll just get stored on AT&T's servers until you're back in coverage.

No different than turning your phone off or going into airplane mode. You leave the network either way. When you come back you get whatever SMS or VM's that you might have received while not on the network.
