This is my absentee ballot just before putting it in an envelope and dropping it in the ballot box (not the mail box; I like to save money.) As usual, split ticket is the way to go. I'm sure hoping that this rigged election doesn't cheat Gary Johnson out of the White House. My wife--a true, blue lifelong Democrat--can't bring herself to vote for president this year, so she is leaving that blank (unless I can convince her to vote for GJ) but voting down ballot. Both of us will breath a sigh of relief when this election is over.

Though, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm pretty sure taking a photo is illegal but not 100% sure. I know you can get arrested for taking a photo outside the place. They can book you on voter intimidation lol

A quick google search says it varies from state to state with some states it being illegal.

They make you pay for postage to return the ballot? CA is postage-paid.

I don't get why you can't take a photo of your ballot. Not that I have any desire to.

Where I live in California, we don't really have any contested races..........it's all about Propositions and local measures.........among the 17 propositions it appears there are competing proposals about the death penalty, competing measures about plastic bags, a proposition to require porn flick actors to wear condoms (uh, just the guys presumably), taxes on cigarettes.....oh and legalizing marijuana (with specified taxes too)

There's a vicious battle underway next door in Beverly Hills over allowing a zoning change for building a high-rise hotel........I've only seen yard signs about the local issues; none at all for either Clinton or Trump

For some of the people in PRSI, selfies should be illegal no matter what State they are in.

I still have nightmares over @jkcerda's picture :).

I don't want to hear any complaints from you about Hillary if she beats Trump :).

It's illegal to take pictures in to polling place here in NC, so I can't show you my HUGE Trump vote.

Ballot selfies are illegal in some states. As far as I know, an anonymous photo of an absentee ballot taken in your own home is perfectly legal.

Yep, cheap-ass state government. However, they have ballot drop-offs in many convenient locations. Here is the actual one I used:

Thing is built like a tank.

If Gary Johnson loses I'll know the election was rigged... :p

Illegal in my state at the booth. I would have taken a pic if I voted by mail.
