Teddy and I have his Win box running 24/7 for folding. And i run our Mac's when I can. Your reaching the top 100 is great. I just broke in to the top 200.

Everyone is passing me now I don't fold 24/7 on my dual G5 1.8 and my G3 B&W 400... :(

Well since "everyone" is passing you, you might want to take the challenge out of your sig :)

I'm folding on a 1.3 P4 (5 hours a day), a 1.33 PB (24 hours a day), and a 1.8 P4 (whenever my grandparents feel like turning their computer on...). For some reason, though, it says that I have 4 active processors when I check my stats. Weird, eh?

The 4 procs may be due to one of the P4 having hyperthreading enabled.

my HT P4s look like SMB machines under linux

NEVER!, do you feel lucky punk? Is that a challenge that you are trying to overtake me? I dare you!! :D

P.s. oeps, just let my G5 fold 24/7....

I don't think I'l ever overtake you when my only 24/7 folding machine is a 1.33 GHz PB

I remain pretty steady around #158. My Power Mac G4 and iBook are 24/7. Two others are are part time. Just happy to help out MacRumors and disease research.

Well after I saw this thread, I started "folding"... it seemed useful to me and I wanted to contribute with my 24/7 open 3Ghz Pentium4 PC..

As much as I understood, macs are a little less contributing, because of their lower CPU speeds, aren't they..

and one more question, does folding use any bandwidth as upload or download???

Welcome to folding toughboy, it's awesome to have you as a member of the team. You are helping MacRumors and disease research.

I haven't noticed any such problem with my Mac.
