Put device into recovery mode to restore (fresh install) or update (retain data). iOS 13.1 will be coming out tomorrow so it might be better to wait until then. Just remove the profile and update as normal tomorrow.

I tried this no luck

  1. f iTunes is open on your Mac, close it.
  2. Plug your USB to Lightning cable into your computer.
  3. Plug your USB to Lightning cable into your iPhone.
  4. Open iTunes.
  5. Press and release the Volume Up button and then the Volume Down button. Then, press and hold the Side button until you see the recovery mode screen.

I'm trying to restore on my macbook says resource not found and I can't my phone to go into recovery mode. any suggestions?

You will lose your backup, and have to set it up as a new phone.

iOS does not allow restore from backup with newer iOS to phone with older iOS.

You do need iTunes either on Mac or Windows to restore or update using full IPSW update file.
Or Catalina for Mac in that matter.

You don’t need to restore to factory settings to get rid of profile, unless you want to get rid of beta software as well.
