My iMac G5, which I'd like to install Linux on, seems to be stuck at the "Linux ppc64" screen, before the graphical installer loads. It's been sitting there for about 30 minutes, fans roaring at full blast. I have a Fedora 12 ppc DVD handy - should I try that, to see if that will make it boot properly? What, if anything, should I do at this point?
EDIT: Guess I had a bad disc. Fedora 12 ppc boots just fine.
