Just got my first Mac - a Macbook. Love the machine but I'm getting a bit dubious about the quality of Apple's software.
Trying to use iMail (used to Outlook and Thunderbird on a PC) but there is no way I can find to move to next or previous message when viewing a message. And if I delete a message it flips back to the list instead of showing the next message. This makes it _really_ slow and clunky to use. Also it would be nice to be able to file a message (move it to a folder/mailbox) whilst viewing it instead of having to close it and drag and drop it.
Are these basic features which are there but have some secret arcane apple shortcut to use (can't find anything in help or searching this forum) or do I conclude that Apple's mail app is as rubbish as its spreadsheet and have to install Thunderbird to go with NeoOffice.
Which will then raise a whole load of questions about how to integrate iCal and Addressbook with Thunderbird.
I am starting to wonder if I made a serious mistake here and would have done better to stick with Microsoft - although there are some nice things about the MacBook.
Please help - how to I move to next/previous message in iMail when viewing a message.
