I just recently purchased an iPhone and I'm looking to convert my e-mail accounts to imap from pop3.

I've read enough on it and believe I can get it setup through mail, however I do have a few questions.

How do I safely preserve all my pop3 mail currently sitting in my inbox? Call me crazy but I pretty much save everything except junk mail (4k + messages). If I delete the pop3 accounts from preferences I think all the mail will go with it. Ideally I would like to have it all available in a single "Inbox" rather than having an archived mail folder that would contain my pop3 e-mails, then 3 more inboxes for each of my imap accounts.

I currently have 2 gmail accounts, and 1 account through my domain name I own. All 3 accounts have plenty of mail still residing on ther server, junkmail and all unfortunately.

Any helpful hints/tips appreciated.
