    Just curious, how reliable and trustworthy is imei.info? Is it really a good idea for people to be giving away their phones IMEIs or can't anything really be done with them?

    Post it if you want to run the risk of your phone being cloned.

    It's not THAT easy to clone a phone. Plus why would someone want to what benefit would they get from your phone. Plus you don't clone a phone, you clone a sim.

    True but its best to air on the side of caution.

    Imei's are used to block phones too so id rather keep mine to myself.

    It would be less hassle to the cloner to just make up a random IMEI - less likelihood that he/she'd get caught. The only reason I could see someone wanting to deliberately clone your specific IMEI is if they wanted to frame you for something. Which is highly unlikely.
