Anyone having trouble to get people names and pics to appear in iMessage from iOS 13?

You will only see it if that iMessage user set up their name and profile pic and set it to share to "Contact Only" or "Always Ask"

Did that, lasted 6 months. Came back. iOS/iPhone far superior.

Exactly, in all of my previous attempts that’s exactly what my final thought was.

Zero issues for me. Luckily I've only had one instance of a bad performing iOS.

None of the Android manufactures provide anywhere close to the service Apple provides in my years of experience in this industry. You can give it a go though, you never know.
