None. But that doesn’t fit the agenda, so the right is silent.

Yup, and if he did take it upon himself to save another life, they are going to say he did it just to gain citizenship. See how bitter we have become?

I see. And this one immigrant in this one country from this one other country proves that all immigrants are not bad...?

Don't you hate it when someone beats you to the punch?

Calling it out now prevents it from coming up later. Anyone who spends time here would know that it would come up, no question.

Oh. Well I guess it's always more important to make a point than to highlight a selfless, heroic act by a human being helping another.

What a tremendous man! Why didn’t local Frenchmen, why didn’t those gold hearted Christians climb up a building to save a baby??
    --- Post Merged, May 29, 2018 ---
It’s because people don’t like this story. I love it! As a hobbyist climber myself I don’t think I could have done that... guys got talent

Oh come on. Yes you were. Why the "gotcha" headline then? It's ok. Just admit it. Just look at what this redkite person has to say about it. "People don't like the story." What's not to like? A person risked his life to climb up a building like a superhero to save someone. What isn't to like about that???? You know, not everything has to be political.

I didn't make it political. I was making a joke about the posts here. Most are downers. But I'll change it because it made you feel bad.

Because there’s a group of highly racist people in France right now (and america for some reason even with both countries histories....). So this is a nice twist. You must be aware of the social environment and rise of the far right?

I agree, you should have put a “trigger warning” on this article.

Aw. I liked the original title. :(

I wonder how many clicked hoping to see something negative?

Just like how a lot of people like to point out one immigrant doing something bad to prove that they are all bad.

I want to know how he managed to climb those balconies while being weighed down by massive cojones. Any guy willing to climb like that without a safety gear must have balls the size of grapefruits.

Thank you for taking my feelings into account. I always enjoy a safe space. Seriously though, it just sucks that we can't look at this situation for all that it is: a person risking his life to help another. Period. End of story. Instead, we have to make it about a click-bait title trying to trick the pesky anti-immigrant crowd into thinking this is something else. True, most threads are downers. This one just didn't have to be. My two cents.

The amazing part of rescue, man was about 3 inches short from next railing, so he jumped and grabbed next railing and 1 arm pulled himself up till he could get foot hold.

    Wow.
