I am wanting to start sharing my iCloud storage space with my father who already has his own iCloud storage. However what will happen to all the photos he has in his current iCloud storage? Will they swap over? Will they be lost?
Anybody have any idea?

Cheers in advance

I just recently added my parents to my family plan and all of their data just moved over. Nothing has been lost. At least I believe that's the way it's designed to work.

Curious... after sharing your storage plan are your files hidden or separated from your family members? Or does everyone have access to everything? I want to share and combine but still want to retain a level of privacy with my files, documents, etc.

I’ve set mine up now and you can see the family members usage in your storage bar display but can’t look at it other than to see how much storage it is using.
