As the title says, these of you that had the stainless steel series 2 apple watch and upgraded to the series 3 stainless steel, What are your impressions? was the upgrade worth it or is it just a mediocre upgrade at best?

I do not plan on using the cellular on the series 3 at all but im trying to see if upgrading to the series 3 would be worth it to get the built in barometer and slightly faster performance

Have a S2SS and now a S3SBSS. Love them both. The S2SS pairs with any watch band. The S2SBSS is dark and ominous, more storage, seems a bit snappier. But I have LTE turned on for running and occasional motorcycle errand.

It's a tool, so for many people an upgrade is not necessary, especially if no plans to use LTE.

Unsolicited pics because it's fun for me.......

The Series 2 upgrade to the Series 3 is more of a lateral grade in my opinion. Mainly because the Series 3 Apple Watch already encompasses many of the capabilities from the Series 2 Apple Watch, with the addition of audible Siri, LTE and a faster dual core processor, and more storage.

For Someone that would really notice the differences with Series 3 would be someone that would be upgrading from first generation Apple Watch or Series one.

But if somebody really liked their Series 2 and wanted to have the latest device, Series 3 builds off the Series 2 very nicely. And the speed of the Series 3 is one of the strongest features it has when compared to the older models.
