That is pretty funny. Not only the obvious ridiculous number of hours remaining, but the fact that it shows that it’s already imported more messages than there are.

A question (and I really mean it):

Why would anyone want to keep around 244,151 old emails?
That is an excellent question. They are locally stored. You'd be amazed at how many times I reference emails that are years old in order to find answers to current questions from clients regarding archived materials. I can associate past projects by day and date and that saves us time in searching our catalog of old hard drives and such. May not be the most elegant tool, but it has its benefits.

Aside from that, I have no reasonable answer.

Because storage is cheaper than time and it would take ages to sort through them all trying to guess in advance which ones you were going to need to refer back to in the future.
