Can we just take a minute to remember those who fell in the Bowling Green massacre?

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...efugees-bowling-green-massacre-never-happened

[What a bizarre world we're living in where right wing politicians can make news up like this. Don't they know we can fact check their lies? I guess that isn't the point though. Many reactionaries just want to be angry without self reflection]

Can she tell the truth about anything? If she told me the sky was blue, I'd question it.

And there's the rub. When alternative facts are being spewed from The White House - it is hypocritical to call media outlets FAKE NEWS.

Do you think KA will apologize and correct herself? Or will she spin it by saying - well the massacre wasn't in Bowling Green - but they were terrorist, yadda yadda...

One of the most cherished skills of the Trust Administration is the abilty to be nimble, lie with a straight face, generate fake news for the suckers, accuse everyone else of pushing fake news to keep'm confused.

Conway and Spicer are real winners. She makes outlandish statements with a straight face, he channels his boss in a manic insecure way. If she had not been called on it, her Bowling Green Massacre statement would have been another fooled'm high five.

Guys, wait before judging this piece of news, it's not that she was referring to the KY's city. What happened - if you listened to the entire interview is that... no, I can't. She is - indeed - a complete idiot.

    Lol.
Well, she has to go, like yesterday. She's a threat to the entire administration - an administration that ain't receiving much love from the press already. Without going into who's guilty of what, as it would be just a circular conversation, people like KA are just... dangerous. Here she confirmed her total lack of ability in dealing with the press even on common stuff. She could've said "San Bernardino," and then correct her aim saying "I was referring not to this specific subject, but to the broader problem," if she didn't really know what to say.
Today, she made up a massacre in the same way - actually less credible - that some people made up that the Moon landings never happened, or the UFO crashed in Roswell. Let her go, now.
Instead, I propose to hire Italian journalist Diletta Leotta, I am sure that most guys on this forum ( esp. @jkcerda ) will thank me for the suggestion if they google her name. I don't know if she's smarter than KA (well, I suppose she is; a bee is smarter than her), but she's certainly much more pleasant to watch and tolerate at least.

No arguments. I've said from before the election that one of the worst things about Trump winning would be seeing her on the news. The media outlets need to stop interviewing her. Period. She will literally say anything. And she's a hypocrite. Do not condemn the media for fake news and then rattle of crap like that.

    And the damage control?
    http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...-green-massacre-defense-refugee-ban/97436748/

She apparently meant to say terrorists - not massacre. Which is clearly crap because those words aren't even on the same spectrum. Calculated.

Thanks for reporting about the "terrorists" she supposedly wanted to talk about. Still, this doesn't change my view of her a bit. If this was a single event, I would pass on this. It happens, especially if you speak to the press five hours a day and everything you say is scrutinized. But she goes on, and on, and on with this crap.

No argument from me. I didn't post the latest news as an excuse. I think it's her spin because there's no way for her to just say she lied :)

I know this is very cliche, but she has natural blonde hair.

She will put blondes to a new low.

If KA looked like her (and frequent bikini, and less, appearances), people would not care what BS she said!

They know we can fact check it but they don't care. They want to get their supporters tired of seeing the other side debunking most of what they say so they ignore it. It also allows them to see how big of lies they can get away with without alienating their supporters. Combine that with creating anger towards a specific group of people and before too long they can unleash their supporters against that group and any objections they will just label as fake news.

If her incompetence and mendacity were somehow unique in the Trump Administration, you might have a point.

But getting her facts wrong on cable news show is, in the big scheme of things, small potatoes. She was obviously unprepared.

But the entire Trump team bungled the Executive Order. No thought was given to the way it would affect Green Card holders. No thought was given to the way it would affect people who had been actively helping the US military. No consideration was given to academics or diplomats. Artists. No consideration was given to the way the Executive Order would affect hundreds of US companies.

No: Team Trump was bound and determined to get an Executive Order signed in his first week, presumably to satisfy whatever sadistic ignorance lurks in the mind of Donald Trump and his followers. Consequences be damned.

She ****ed up. Now this item is taking 80% of CNN coverage.

Here is the Bowling Green Terrorists that she was allegedly talking about:

    abcnews.com

Several dozen suspected terrorist bombmakers, including some believed to have targeted American troops, may have mistakenly been allowed to move to the United States as war refugees, according to FBI agents investigating the remnants of roadside bombs recovered from Iraq and Afghanistan.

The discovery in 2009 of two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees in Bowling Green, Kentucky -- who later admitted in court that they'd attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq -- prompted the bureau to assign hundreds of specialists to an around-the-clock effort aimed at checking its archive of 100,000 improvised explosive devices collected in the war zones, known as IEDs, for other suspected terrorists' fingerprints.

"We are currently supporting dozens of current counter-terrorism investigations like that," FBI Agent Gregory Carl, director of the Terrorist Explosive Device Analytical Center (TEDAC), said in an ABC News interview to be broadcast tonight on ABC News' "World News with Diane Sawyer" and "Nightline".

"I wouldn't be surprised if there were many more than that," said House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul. "And these are trained terrorists in the art of bombmaking that are inside the United States; and quite frankly, from a homeland security perspective, that really concerns me."
