What's the phrase I'm looking for. Oh yeah, you reap what you sow.

Note: This has nothing to do with pigs.

    I
I thought that as soon as I saw the title of the thread! :)

Remember the Hobby Lobby ruling. The argument is still bring made that I should be exempt from the law based on my religion.

Based on that, some members of extreme-right religions should be allowed to cut off people's hands or stone them to death.

    I don't see why they shouldn't win.

If Catholics can break underage drinking laws, Rastas and Cannatarians should be able to engage in their holy intoxicants as well.

It seems to me that Hobby Lobby exists because of our healthcare system, which is left largely in the hands of the private sector and not seen as a civil right. UHC (as well as a shift in society's perspective and priorities) would render Hobby Lobby irrelevant as they'd have no say in who is insured, or to what level. We invite these kinds of situations because healthcare is often put on the shoulders of employers. I would think it would be freeing for them as well to have that burden removed.

You'd think...but their conservative idealology gets in the way of their logic or it's a matter of wanting their cake and eating it too.
