I just upgraded to leopard this past weekend. Here is my problem:
I have my account (administrator), an account for my husband (non-admin), and a guest account set up. Input managers Inquisitor, Saft, and 1Password are all installed at HD/Library/InputManagers. However, they only work on my husband's account. Only 1P works on the admin account.
If they are installed on the HD, shouldn't they work for all accounts???
I have tried:
Downloading updates
Uninstalling and re-installing from the admin account
Uninstalling and re-installing from my husband's non-admin account
I also tried installing PlugSuit, but it will not install because the location ~/Library/PreferencePanes cannot be found. But it's not there for the non-admin account either, so I don't see how this would be affecting things.
Any suggestions would be great. If we can get this issue fixed, I think I will give Leopard two weeks to prove itself to me. It has dropped my battery life from ~3.5 hours to one, and seems to be very slow for the amount of resources it uses. Ironic, what with the "downgrade to vista" ads apple keeps airing... I may be downgrading to Tiger.
