iPod touch installer.app

Has anyone tried to install the "installer.app" program, used for installing apps on the iPhone, on their iPod touch?

Any idea how I can add more apps to my iPod?

I have wondered about this also. If the touch and iphone are so similar than it might work. I will give it a try when i get off of work.

Let's use a little common sense here. The touch has been out for about 2 weeks. If installer.app or another hack existed, don't you think it would be all over this board?

Then again, maybe no one thought of trying to install installer.app on their touch until now.

He didnt have any attitude, he had a fair point, it would be a pretty major thing if you could use it, use the search feature in the future..
