Why would you do that exactly? What's wrong with Apple's white color logo?

I think it'd be cool to have the black Apple logo... like they have on the iMac and Mac Mini. I'm sorry if I some how offended you. I don't understand why people on here consider it like a sin to change any appearance of a Mac

If you want to put it on the external side of the computer, it should be easy. Internally is a whole different beast. You'd need to remove the screen to get access to the logo, which means separating the parts of the display assembly.

Edit: Here is a iFixit link to show how to remove the display assembly. You'd still need to further disassemble that, however.

Nothing's wrong with it. But a little customization isn't bad.

Probably wont work on the new unibodies, btw that Red/Green Combination will make a computer look like a Mac Ripoff, Black would be cool though, but same thing, such changes can take away the apple glamour and make you look cheap

It's much harder to do on unibody MBPs as opposed to the classic style ones. The screen assemblies are different, and I believe, are stuck together with adhesive. Have you thought about buying a cling or sticker to cover the apple logo?

That way you could achieve the effect without risking breaking the screen.

people like to modify things. its called creativity.
black would be really sick but its probably not worth the trouble to do it internally. you can find some really good stickers though. just go here.
