Installing OSX from Recovery Mode - Vintage IMac

I recently had issues with my old IMac. Circa 2011. I met lots of resistance with the matrix loading the normal procedures to install a working OSX after failure with the old one.

Make sure you use Disc Utility first to erase your HD and make it MAC JOURNALED

Thanks for this FORUM I found my solution and share it with anybody that loves their VINTAGE MAC and wants to keep it RECOVERED.

Here is the simple steps after hours of trying that worked right away....

1) COMMAND OPTION P and R 2x
2) Enter Recovery Mode
3) Open TERMINAL in Disc Utilities Chnage Date Parameters to equal MAC - Terminal Command ntpdate -u time.apple.com
4) reboot in recovery mode selecting COMMAND OPTION R

VOILA BACK TO ORDER
