Just found this article on how Intel's anti-trust case just may be bigger than Microsoft's. I hope this won't affect Intel's finances, which in turn may affect the current relationship with Apple. :(

In no way does this lawsuit affect Apple, at least not directly and not for years to come. Apple is an Intel customer. As such, Apple is free to purchase from whomever it wishes.
 
Oh, of course not directly, but indirectly I thought it might cause some of those famous "delays" in processor availability. Apple would not be affected by the lawsuit, but maybe the aftershocks.

The "aftershocks" are years away. In the meantime, this is a problem for Intel legal. Intel R&D and Intel manufacturing will go about their merry ways.
