He, he, it does look legit. But you never know. People have a lot of free time to stir up these rumors. 
Somebody should zoom in to the shot that shows it attached to the iPhone and see if it has the reduced diameter home button and the reduced home button borders as described in the new iPhone front glass video from a day ago.
Won't confirm whether this is real or not but if it does show those same details and if it was produced before that front glass video I think that would be pretty interesting.

7th Gen nano was released earlier (just a software update on the 6th) and they will either say the new iPad or new iPhone, correct?
