My MBP's internet has been touchy lately, and I'm not too sure how to resolve the issue. This post is in relation to the MBP in my signature, running 10.9. I connect my MBP to my network via Wi-Fi and every now and then it will completely stop working, while all other devices continue to function normally. I remain connected to the network, but I am unable to load any webpage or internal network pages. This issue also occurs when I am connected via ethernet. When I boot into Windows, I have none of these problems. I can solve the problem temporarily by turning Wi-Fi off/on on my MBP. I also have this issue when I connect to my school's Wi-Fi or any other public Wi-Fi, so I can only assume it is a problem with my machine.

On the same subject, both me and my brother have the same MBP. When we come home over the holidays, both of our MBP's will have issues with the Wi-Fi there as well, but only when using Chrome. This lead me to believe that it was an issue using Google's DNS, but after disabling the feature and flushing my DNS cache, the problem still remained. All other devices are unaffected and function perfectly, even when using Chrome.
