Dear members where can I find and play radio stations on the net for free? Can I use vlc or quicktime?

You could start with iTunes.

Yep, works like a charm!

There is a pretty wide range of offerings, unless you are looking for a specific station. Most genres are represented well with a number of options.

You should already have iTunes installed. That is probably the fastest and cheapest way to do this.

You can play internet radio via VLC - but it's a lot more cumbersome.

Find anything on the Shoutcast network, or DI.fm if you feel like poking around more.

iTunes already has an internet radio tab - with a ton of stations already queued up.

Thanks member I got it. I never set up itunes but now I have just done so. Thank you members!
