    Forum questions
Should Apple go into the lethal weapon business by designing and manufacturing a gun in California?
What might an Apple Gun do much better than all those guns manufactured today?

    ————————————————————

    No gun. No trigger pulled.
One gun death is one too many.*

Gun manufacturers are responsible for killing more than 33,000 in the USA annually.
It's clear gun manufacturers have got their product designs completely wrong.
This is solid proof current operating systems are completely flawed.

Introducing the All New Apple Gun

    PassCode and Touch ID

Apple Gun has safety built in from the outset so that the gun doesn't work without a PassCode or Touch ID from authorized users. This means kids or any other individuals that accidentally get hold of the gun can not do any harm.

PassCode and Touch ID would save many accidental shootings and lives killed:

    ————————————————————

    Camera and Sensor

Apple Gun has an inbuilt camera system that features advanced image processing with scene detection that can recognize the difference between a shooting range and an unarmed classroom full of students or nightclub filled with party goers and automatically disables firing where there is zero threat.

Camera and Sensor would save many intentional shootings and lives killed:

Elementary school massacre: 20 children among 28 killed in Connecticut slaughter

At Least 50 Dead in Orlando Nightclub Shooting
    http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/orlando-nightclub-shooting-leaves-mass-casualties-20160612

Apple Gun also uses a combination of sensors and intelligent scene processing that can detect when a target has a weapon and whether the target is hostile or not a threat.

Sensors and intelligent scene processing would prevent unprovoked shootings and lives killed:

Cops Shot Philando Castile, His Girlfriend Streamed the Horrific Aftermath on Facebook
    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/07/07/cops-shot-her-boyfriend-she-livestreamed.html

    ————————————————————

    Siri

"Hey, Siri. Can you possibly help with this situation?"

Apple Gun combined with the camera, sensors and Siri can detect volatile situations and intervene preventing individuals in possession of the gun using it to enact a suicide. Siri calls out directing the user to help services and disables the gun firing.

Siri could help prevent many suicides and lives killed:

    Gun Deaths Are Mostly Suicides
    http://www.nytimes.com/2015/10/09/upshot/gun-deaths-are-mostly-suicides.html

    ————————————————————

*Gun policy change required immediately in the USA

Unfortunately there is no such thing as a safe gun, not even the Apple Gun.

The sooner the country drops its paranoid view of government, reduces the number of guns in circulation by 90% through a nationwide gun buy back and demands incredibly better training of law enforcement and steep consequences for law enforcers that don't do their jobs properly, the safer, the happier and the better we will be as citizens.

Other countries should start putting pressure on the US regarding travel restrictions. Clearly the US is not a safe place to travel to with over 33,000 gun deaths every year.

The 2nd Amendment never meant automatic and semi automatic guns, heck those types of insane war time weapons weren't even invented at the time the 2nd Amendment was written in 1791.

It also comes in three different bullet capacities.

    $499 holds 2 bullets
    $599 holds 3 bullets
    $899 holds 7 bullets.

Waiting for the inevitable server hack... 20,000 people shot in their sleep by their own gun due to some 13 year old kid breaking into the server and issuing the firing code.

To use the bullets, you have to buy this adapter for $29.99 because standard bullets don't fit.

Why should people drop the paranoid view of the government? Time and time again history has taught us otherwise. What makes you think it won't happen again? Perhaps this was the reason it was explicitly added in they first place?

Really? The same argument can be applied to other countries/continents but with different reasons, some much worse
Yea, it was meant to keep government in check if it came down to it. That means being able to have similar firearms as the military. Besides, an AR-15 is quite a small caliber to begin with. Not an insane war machine by any means. Heck, you can't even legally deer hunt with it.

just about as pointless as your statement in regards to the second amendment
