After the crazy upgrade, outside of all the problems others mentioned, my vibrate on ring is not working. I should have listened to my 10 year old - she said never update for 6 months after a new release.

1. for some reason the new version messed up my "Do not disturb" settings. Along with that my vibrate on silent is not working.

I turned off my do not disturb toggle and vibrate on Ring and vibrate on silent is not working.

Why is Apple doing this? What's wrong with these guys? Don't they know they are messing around with millions of users? Every single release has bugs - they fix some and create more.

With all the mess they want to get in to the enterprise market? This is laughable. I am so FRUSTRATED with the post Steve administration - only thing they see is $$$$ with captive audience.

Any help will be appreciated.

So what exactly isn't working for you? It doesn't seem that most people are experiencing issues of this type.

When I turned my ringer off (using the toggle switch on the side) the phone went completely silent. Everytime I called the phone (while the ringer is off), it will just light up and show the call and will never vibrate.

Here are my sounds settings --

Vibrate on Ring - on
Vibrate on Silent - on
Ringer and alerts - all the way to the right
Change with buttons - on
Ringtone - crystals
Text tone - bamboo
New voicemail - bamboo
New Mail - none
Sent Mail - none
Calendar alerts - Bamboo
Reminder alerts - Chord
Airdrop - Pulse
Keyboard clicks - off
Lock sound - off

I rebooted the phone twice - same issue...Is there something wrong with my settings?

I don't see anything wrong with your settings. It may be a hardware problem. You might want to try a reset after backing it up first. If that doesn't work, the phone may need to be repaired or replaced. You didn't tell us which phone you have or whether it's covered by Apple Care.

Is vibrate working in general for other alerts when silent? Is it working when not silent?

It is a 6s...and the warranty expired two days ago.

"Reset all settings" worked. Looks like they are mucking around with features and settings...
Now I have to go and tackle other issues..

Sounds like something odd happened with the install. Good to hear that it got worked out.

DO NOT RESET TO ORIGINAL SETTINGS! Before doing that, check "Accessibility".
Settings>General>Accessibility: Scroll down to "Vibration" and turn on. This worked for me.

For some reason, when updating to IOS 11, many of the accessibility settings are turned off.
