I started off on the 6S updating to iOS 11 and I immediately noticed that the Mail app started to drain the battery. It seems to be running away (consuming ~30% of a 24 hr cycle) but I've only used it on screen for 5-10 minutes and a few minutes in background. I swapped to an 8 plus and it's still happening after having restored.
I have push enabled for 3 google exchange accounts and I've never experienced any issues like this in iOS 10 or 9. I tried changing push to fetch and it doesn't help at all. Only way I've managed to stop it is to completely disable the account…
Anyone know of a potential fix?
