Does anyone know if this exists? I upgraded to PB3 yesterday and battery is kinda wonky so I wanted to a DFU restore.

I doubt that anyone would be able to give that to you on this forum.

I'm not asking for a dev beta download link. Those are all over the Internet. Unless the PB 3 build is the same as Dev 4. If that's the case I can just grab Dev 4 I think.

IPSWs are not available for PB. You need the DP.

2 questions for you:

1. Is DP 4 build the same as PB3 or older?
2. Is there a difference between the dev beta profile and public beta profile as far as installing the Dev beta vs Public beta?

I have not checked the build number for DP4 vs PB3, but I would be shocked if they are different. They have always been the same.

There really is no difference except DP gets the update before PB.

I'm planning on the following steps, correct if any may be wrong:

- Go into DFU mode
- Restore Dev Beta 4
- Install dev beta profile (in order to get OTA updates moving forward)

beta 4 = public beta 3

One thing I'm not clear on. What is the purpose of the Beta profile you install? Is it just so OTA updates will appear on your device? Also, what happened to having the UDID on your device registered. Did Apple stop requiring that?

Apple gave away the IPSW for 10.3.3. It's not that unreasonable to think it could be the same for iOS 11.

They only gave it for beta 4 of 10.3.3. That was because of the downgrade issue with iOS 11. That is the first time in over 3 years of PB.

Yes. Only if you want to set up the device as new. You can also update it with the ipsw.

That's the plan. Every now and then I setup as new reinstall all apps and reconfigure everything. Sounds like a pain but weird issues go away doing that.
I typically only do it when X.0 finals come around every Fall. But you are right, it definitely may prevent strange bugs with the betas.

yes & yes

The dev beta and the public beta are the exact same builds. Since you have to pay for the developer license / profile /access they simply get it sooner before Apple releases it for the public (free).

There isn't a public beta ipsw or a developer ipsw. Its only the one ipsw for the latest build of iOS11

Profiles and IPSW are on the internet....if you look.
