I’ve seen 3 iPhone 11s that can’t update to Public Beta 3, and stuck on Beta 2, but other phones like the XR can update to 3. Anyone know about this?

I thought there have been only two public betas releases - the second this past week. There have been 3 Developer betas.

100% only 2 public beta’s and 3 developer betas
Considering only public beta 1 and 2 have been released, you literally must be mistaken.

The labeling for the latest public beta seems to be Public Beta 3 even though it's the second public beta that has been released. The numbering is likely to be in sync with the developer beta number given that it's the same build as developer beta 3.

Can’t give you an answer other than it seems like the same version (18A5332f) is reporting a different name on different devices.
I’m in the middle of Apple Support messaging, so hopefully they’ll lend me an answer. The name is probably what’s throwing me off.

Public Beta 2 and 3 are identical to Dev beta 2 and 3.
The first public beta was beta 2, but it was called “Public Beta 2”. They probably did this so the numbers match up.

Why don’t you just look at the actual software version number in each phone. I’m guessing they match.

Apple reads the forums ;)
