So I’ve been using iOS 14.4 on an iPhone 12 flawlessly since, well, forever.

Tonight on a whim I decided to upgrade to 15.1.1 and well my reception has gone to hell. Can’t hold a good phone call anymore and can’t really surf data connection with a lot of timeouts.

Kicking myself in the ass for doing an unnecessary os upgrade right now.

Tell me it’s not just me and others are having some kind of reception issue? (It would give me hope that a future upgrade might get me back to snuff… because my conspiratorial side is telling me this is appples way of saying I should get an iPhone 13. Lol

I don't think the operating system has anything to do with the radio reception. It's probably coincidence.

Suggestions are always, Reset Network Settings and/or restart your phone.
Did both with no success. I can no longer surf while sitting on the couch. Only 2 corners of my place get good enough reception now.

The phone also seems to get super hot all the time now as I’m assuming it’s hunting for reception. It’s on fire as I type this.

I really miss iOS 14.4 right now ? this stupid iOS 15 hasn’t given me a single useful new feature but ruined my reception, thus usability of my phone

I also noticed that I have poorer signal range since IOS15, along of other issues.
I'm thinking about going back to IOS14 if it doesn't get better soon.
