I'm also interested about compatibility between iOS 17 and AW S3. I can't find an answer anywhere so I think I'll try to install iOS 17 beta and see.

Works! I still use an a Series 3 from time to time (i.e. when I do some gardening and want to preserve my Series 8) with my iPhone 11 Pro on iOS17. Works like charm.

Thanks! After your post I updated to beta iOS 17 and can confirm that iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 17 Dev Beta 1 works with Apple Watch Series 3 with 8.7.1 (19U67).
