My safari seems slower too on iOS7. Been using the beta all summer. It freezes a lot too. The 5S doesn't seem as fast as I thought it would be compared to the 5.

I absolutely love Safari on iOS 7 - especially the gestures to go back and forward pages. Seems much quicker for me.

Gestures are great. Overall responsiveness is slower though. Hopefully fixed in 7.1.

While that may be perceived, Chrome doesn't have access to the Nitro JS engine so in terms of raw speed, Safari will be much faster. Chrome on iOS doesn't use its own rendering engine...

It is faster on my iPhone 5. Plus you have the preload feature on iOS 7.

Slower, a lot slower, and freezes too much.
    Gestures are OK.

Are you guys having issues with the url field, cancel and refresh buttons not responding? Nobody has responded to my last posting so I was wondering if I was the only one experiencing this.
