ios 8 upload video to youtube -only- in 720p, not 1080p

Hi there,

I have several videos on my iphone 6 (slow motion; 60 fps; 30 fps) which i recorded in hd quality (settings-> camera&foto).

when i upload videos from iphone to youtube i always select hd-upload.

but viewing the uploaded videos on youtube i can see that all of them are only 720p quality....

is there any reason for this?

thanks for the answer. there is no other alternative solution as to use youtube capture?
