iPad 8th generation stuck on restore trying to update to 16.1

Is there anyone else experiencing same issue with iPad 8th generation? The iPad does try to restore the os and gets Apple logo but quickly goes back to restore screen with 4013 error code.

I just came across this issue myself and tried everything I could think of… tried different USB-C to Lightning cables, different Macs with different operating systems, etc.

I finally found a post on Reddit to use an old USB-A Lightning cable. I was skeptical, but I gave it a try, and the restore was actually successful!

Great! I actually tried that and worked as well. I used my iPhone USB charger cable. It took me extensive search for a solution.. if other people who won’t spend this much time trying to find an answer to fix it, they end up going to Apple stores and might buy a new device…
