iPad Air 2 displays are laminated (combined glass/lcd) and used to cost $299 to repair. Within the last 6 months that price has come down to as low as $135, but more typically in the $199 range.Hi, is there a way to get it done cheaper than $249 Apple charges? Are there kits or other stores that do it cheaper?
Please share your research: my cost for just the air 2 glass is $69, add in an hourly wage and I do not see how anyone can do it for $65.00. If you can find them let me know, I'll happily send my repairs their way and pay shipping. As per my research, iPad Air 2 screen replacement should cost something around $65.00 in the USA.
The digitizer is technically a separate component. The industry often refers to the digitizer: the glass and touch assembly as a single unit. I should have used digitizer in the post above. So there's no digitizer?
