iPad Air iPad Air 5 is not powering off LG Ultrafine 4K display while asleep

I have recently got iPad Air 5 and today tried to use it with my LG Ultrafine 4K display via USB-C cable. It works as expected, except when I put the iPad into sleep, the display simply turns into black screen and keeps backlight. Is it normal behaviour? When I put into sleep mode my M1 MacBook Pro it turns off display.

That’s how my 2021 11” iPad Pro works as well, so I assume it’s normal.
