My sister's iPad screen got smashed. The display still worked fine underneath.
She sent the iPad to someone to replace the glass.
They managed to totally break the display so now it doesn't show a picture at all. The display is dead.
    iTunes still recognises it.
What is the best thing for me to do?
    Sell it broken as is?
It was bought new around christmas time and got broken around May, so it's hardly been used.
Really not sure which part of it is broken; the connectors, the actual lcd...?

    Cheers.

It's possible the display broke while changing the glass. What iPad is it exactly?

Yes, it got broken when they tried to replace the glass.
    It is an iPad Air.

Took it to "someone" to repair... that wouldn't have happened if you took it to Apple.
