iPad calendar question

Hi everyone.

I have a 3G ipad, and am having an issue with the calendar. I am syncing a number of calendars over exchange from gmail, and several calendars from MobileMe. Syncing works great, but I cannot seem to add events to any calendar but the default one.

I hope that I am just missing something, and that this is really possible, seems silly not to have it.
