iPad Hacks Subforum?

I'm pretty sure most of us already know, the iPad has already been jailbroken.

I think it's about time we made the subforums for iPad Hacks?

I'm bumping this because there are so many threads in the iPad forums about the jailbreak, and also because the jailbreak has already been released.

I really think a Hacks subforums is warranted now.

Hay mods any chance of having a Hacked sub forum in the iPad section just as the IPhone does as its gonig to get rather messy in here since the JB :D

Yes please and if ya hurry might be able to move hack associated threads into easier now then after everyone wakes up Monday will get really messy around here for sure!
 
If it doesn't happen soon will prob be easier to convert this forum into the hack and make a new general sub forum lol.

Or just leave it like it is. I prob wouldn't have ever seen the microwaved iPad thread or the hundred year old on an iPad if I spend all my time in a hacker sub forum :eek:
 
I wanted to second this request for a ipad hacks/jailbreak type subforum. The current iPad forum is a mess for those who don't wish to jailbreak. An iPad hacks forum (like the iphone hacks) would be a worthwhile change.
 
At this point in time, iPad hacking is pretty much identical to iPhone hacking. iPod touch hacking is the same as well. Having two forums might lead to a lot of duplicate posting. Maybe we need one forum for all these devices?

i think they must have already had a cleanup. a JB section is still a good idea

I can agree with the iPod touch hacking being too similar to the iPhone's. However, saying that iPad hacks is "pretty much identical" is something I cannot agree with.

The iPad right now doesn't support most jailbreak solutions that were made for the iPhone. They will obviously have to remade. Also, the iPad's screen estate will provide countless new opportunities for jailbreak features (Dashboard anyone?). I believe that the iPad jailbreak community will be substantially different to the iPhone's, and a new forums is needed.

Maybe I'm looking at it too simplistic, but as of now there isn't a jailbreaking tool that doesn't also jb an iPhone or touch. There are two large Spirit threads, one in the iPad forum and one in the iPhone hacks forums, that both have the same information.

I agree that the jailbreak method is exactly the same, but it's what you do after you jailbreak that matters, and worthy of seperate subforums. :)

Called iPad Hacks like in the iphone section?

Seems like people are asking for "hack" help for the ipad under the iPhone hacks ssection. And some people are annoyed by it.

Just an idea.
