Some of the guys posted their experience here about using a Tempered Glass on the 11" iPad Pro, yes this is a known issue, The responsiveness of the screen does get reduced when you apply a tempered glass atleast on the 11" iPad Pro.

It is your Personal Judgement call. I personally do not prefer any tempered glass, but in this case, from what I have read last is the 2018 iPad Pro's are not performing well with screen protectors and tempered glass, so unless you don't mind a little bit of lag or unresponsiveness I would stay away from it. YMVV.

Is there a screen protector you DO recommend?

There’s a massive thread on this - that’s a good place to check for screensaver recommendations.

LOL me too. I thought there was something wrong with my thumb! But rest assured, it's not your finger, it's not the iPad itself, it's the glass and how it malfunctions with whatever new tech is in the iPad Pro 2018 digitiser. Weird.

Hello,
I've been following this issue for awhile. I'm on my second IPP11 and glass screen. The first ipad pro 11 I purchased was back in November. I experienced really bad touch sensitivity issues with the Omoton glass screen protector. It was so bad that I thought I had a defective ipad. I called Apple Tech support who told me to troubleshoot I needed to take the screen protector off. I was hesitant as I had achieved the Holy Grail of installations...perfect alignment, no bubbles, and no dust under screen. Of course I gave in and took the screen shield off and the touch sensitivity returned to normal. I returned the ipad because I refuse to carry something that expensive without a screen shield.

Fast forward to January, decided to try again. Purchased 2nd IPP11. I had it for a week before I opened it cause I was waiting for someone to mention a glass shield that actually worked with the IPad11. Finally decided to open it because of the bent ipad issue. I wanted to make sure I didn't have a bent Ipad before the 14 day return period ran out. This time I applied a Skinomi Glass shield that I bought back in December. Some Amazon reviewers did report touch sensitivity with this one too but overall the glass shield had a 4 star rating with over 200 reviews.

Its been 4 days and while I have noticed some touch sensitivity issues, it hasn't been as bad as what I had with the Omoton glass shield. With the Skinomi glass shield, I do feel that I have to touch a tad bit harder on it than what I would with my Ipad Pro 10.5 but not abnormally so. Also, the apple pencil and FaceID work fine with no issues noted. Despite the fact that the Skinomi shield didn't come with any guide stickers or dust removal stickers I was able to apply it with no bubbles or dust under the screen. To achieve this I apply my screen shield in a super steamy bathroom and I wipe down the front and back of the screen protector as well as the ipad before applying. I go really slow and remove bubbles as I lower the shield onto the device. Overall I would give the Skinomi glass shield 2 thumbs up...at least for now.

If the touch screen sensitivity gets worse I plan to try the screen protectors listed below as they are suppose to be thinner at .26mm vs the typical .33mm. Don't know if that will make a difference but its worth a try.

Megoo Glass Shield $17.78
Orzero Glass Shield $10.98

Sorry for the long post!
