Where the Air Force sends me
I recently saw a video of an iPhone running android. I'm not particularly interested in android, but something like OSX.

Do you think we'll see a running version of osx anytime soon?

If so, how will the iPad handle it, will it run smooth? Would the apps work at all?

JBing the iPad is about to make for an interesting next few months.

The entire OS needs to be rewritten for ARM. Pretty much impossible to do, unless Apple does it (natively). It's a totally different CPU architecture. Android works because it's the same thing.

Why would you want to...?

There are many similar tablet devices virtually identical. You get iPad not just for the tablet hardware (there is better hardware out there that can run linux or windows) but for the OS and apple experience.

Much of going apple isn't the hardware, but the whole apple experience... so I don't understand anyone wanting to make their iPhone or iPad run android, since you can buy a better phone than the iPhone to run android.

Not saying I want to, just wondering why people do this stuff.
